About the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation
Our Mission
The mission of Northeast Delta Dental Foundation is to improve access to, and the quality of, dental health and education for the public and the dental communities in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
Northeast Delta Dental Foundation was established in December of 1995 to meet the dental needs of the communities of the states we serve--Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The Foundation is dedicated exclusively to improving dental health. With cutbacks in social services, the importance of dental education and preventive dental health care has made the Foundation a critical arm of Northeast Delta Dental.
The Foundation does not support any community events or organizations unrelated to the promotion of dental health; for example, the arts, sport events, or any agency providing services other than dental.
Northeast Delta Dental, located in Concord, New Hampshire, is an umbrella organization providing dental benefits to companies of all sizes, covering over 700,000 individuals in our tri-state area through Delta Dental Plan of Maine, Delta Dental Plan of New Hampshire, and Delta Dental Plan of Vermont.
The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization funded through annual grants from Delta Dental Plans of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Funds are also received from the generous gifts of individuals and fundraising activities.
