Burlington, V.T.—Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded grants to Vermont oral health programs.
The Foundation awarded grants of $500 to Early Education Services, Brattleboro, to purchase Born to Brush DVDs for its Welcome Baby Program; $5,000 to Good Neighbor Health Clinic/Red Logan Dental Clinic, White River Junction, to replace dental equipment; $1,000 to Ottauquechee Health Foundation for its SMILES oral health screening program; $3,495 to Springfield Medical Care Systems, Springfield, for dental equipment; $8,000 to Windsor Hospital for the Windsor Smiles Program; and $1,000 to Vermont Dental Hygienists’ Association to sponsor its annual oral health conference.
Two grants were made to Vermont Technical College in Williston totaling $12,800. The first grant of $10,500 is to update dental equipment at the college. The second grant of $2,300 is to provide dental supplies for a pediatric oral health project at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
