The Oral Health Challenge Participation Results Are In!

12/29/2016

Northeast Delta Dental and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats worked together during the 2016 baseball season to promote good oral health habits in children ages 12 and under through the Northeast Delta Dental Oral Health Challenge. Closing our sixth year of continued encouragement, the results are in!

The 2016 efforts brought 792 participants earning a total of 1,584 tickets by the end of the season. Children who completed their Oral Health Challenge form showing they brushed and flossed for seven consecutive days, earned two New Hampshire Fisher Cats tickets to one of three games. Prior to the start of the game, Fungo, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats mascot, guides a parade of children onto the field where they are presented with a gift bag and a certificate honoring their consistent oral health efforts.

Northeast Delta Dental and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats joint efforts are working! Encouraging good oral health improves overall health which keeps our children in school to master their educational passion as they grow. Northeast Delta Dental is working with communities and organizations like the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to make a difference by promoting good oral hygiene habits for a lifetime.

Next year, Northeast Delta Dental and the New Hampshire Cats plan to exceed 2016’s participation and allow children to earn tickets to one of these three game dates: July 17, August 6, or August 20.
