COVID-19 Communication #2

The Oral Health Update - Special COVID-19 Edition

April 23, 2020

Dear valued Northeast Delta Dental subscriber:

Northeast Delta Dental continues to monitor the COVID-19 crisis, with our top priority being the health, safety, and well-being of our subscribers, providers, employees, and the communities we serve. The needs of our stakeholders are diverse, and we are doing our very best to balance those needs with any remedy we may have to offer.

As a reminder, it is largely business as usual for us, with most of our employees working from home and a limited number of people working at our office while keeping the recommended distance from each other. We continue to process and pay claims, manage enrollments, and provide world-class customer service.

The COVID pandemic has caused disruption and uncertainty in our daily lives, but worrying about your Northeast Delta Dental coverage should not be an additional stress for you. We have implemented measures to ensure that potential disruptions to your coverage are minimized, and that should you be furloughed, you can continue your coverage or easily have it restored upon your return to work.

As a reminder, many dental offices are open to treat dental emergencies during this time. Should you have an emergency, please contact your regular dentist or another local dentist if your regular dental office is closed. Please try to avoid using the emergency room for dental-related issues.

Stay strong. Be safe. We are all in this together, and together we will persevere.

Sincerely,
