COVID-19 Communication #2

April 15, 2020

Dear Northeast Delta Dental Producer:
Northeast Delta Dental continues to monitor the COVID-19 crisis, with our top priority being the health, safety, and well-being of our subscribers, providers, producers, employees, and the communities we serve. The needs of our stakeholders are diverse, and we are doing our very best to balance those needs with any remedy we may have to offer.

As a reminder, it is largely business as usual for us, with most of our employees working from home and a limited number of people working at our office while keeping the recommended distance from each other. We continue to process and pay claims, manage eligibility, and work with our producers and vendors to keep the trains running.
We have studied at length how best to provide relief to our valued customers during this difficult time. In an effort to provide economic relief to our customers renewing during the height of the COVID pandemic, I am happy to announce that Northeast Delta Dental will hold current rates for fully insured group customers renewing July through September. Again, this is for fully insured group customers only and does not apply to self-insured customers’ plans that are intrinsically tied to relief as claims volume lessens.

Please provide this information to others with whom you work so that they are also up to speed with our relief efforts. Thank you.

We are committed to monitoring the crisis and will make any warranted adjustments when and if they are needed. Should you have any questions about this and other customer relief measures we are taking, please do not hesitate to contact your Northeast Delta Dental account manager.
