12/14/2016

Saco, Maine—The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded grants to three Maine oral health programs. For more than two decades, the Foundation has supported organizations and initiatives that provide oral health education and access to dental care to the uninsured and underserved people in Maine communities.

The Foundation awarded grants of $6,000 to help support the coordination of a planning grant collaborative. The planning grants were made in Rumford, Farmington, and Eagle Lake, in addition to Cumberland, Lincoln, Kennebec and Somerset counties; $5,000 to the Oasis Dental Clinic in Brunswick, to purchase dental supplies for their new dental center and $3,000 to Saving Smiles, Inc. in Windsor, for its school-based Saving Smiles for Miles Program.
