Foundation Awards Grants to New Hampshire Oral Health Programs


NH—The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded grants of $86,000 to fifteen programs that provide New Hampshire communities with oral health education and dental services.

The Foundation awarded grants of $1,000 for an exhibit celebrating Children’s Dental Health Month at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, Dover; $5,000 for a school-based dental program serving six communities for the Concord Dental Sealant Coalition; $10,000 to support the dental center at Concord Hospital; $5,000 to fund a dental care pilot program at Crotched Mountain, Greenfield; $15,000 to support the operations at Dental Lifeline Network (Donated Dental Services) New Hampshire; $10,000 to support the dental center at Easterseals New Hampshire, Manchester; $8,000 for dental supplies, school-based program, and mobile van for Families First Health & Support Center, serving the seacoast; $5,000 for the school-based dental program at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Rochester; $5,000 to support the oral health program at Great Bay Kids Company, Portsmouth; $5,000 for expansion of the school-based oral health program at Greater Nashua Dental Connection; $5,000 to support Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center’s Dental Clinic and Mobile Dental Clinic at Harbor Homes, Nashua; $1,000 as sponsor of its annual Strengthening Families Summit at New Hampshire Children’s Fund; $1,000 for continuing education courses at New Hampshire Dental Hygienists’ Association; $7,500 to provide dental services through its WIC Program at NH Department of Health & Human Services, Division of Public Health; $2,500 through a fundraising event for Poisson Dental Facility at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.
