Foundation Awards Grants to Vermont Oral Health Programs


Burlington, VT—The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded grants of $80,012 to nine programs that provide Vermont communities with oral health education and dental services.

The Foundation awarded grants of $10,000 for a dental center expansion and equipment at the Community Health Center of Burlington; $9,500 to support the operations at Dental Lifeline Network (Donated Dental Services) Vermont; $5,000 for dental equipment for an oral surgery project at the Estey Dental Center (Early Educational Services), Brattleboro; $8,215 toward the costs of a panoramic x-ray unit for the Orleans Dental Center, Northern Counties Health Care, St. Johnsbury; $13,397 to expand services at the Open Door Clinic – Community Health Services of Addison County; $6,000 to support its Care Mobile program at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Burlington; $9,900 for a mobile dental cart unit at Rutland Free Clinic (Park Street Healthcare); $5,000 for the Vermont Free Adult Dental Care Day—Windham County Smiles event, United Way of Windham County; $13,000 to complete the cost of a van for an oral health outreach program at Vermont Technical College, Williston.
