SACO, Maine, July 12, 2022 – Delta Dental Plan of Maine announces the election of a new director to its board, Dr. Melissa Haidu-Sylvia.  She will serve a three-year term.

Dr. Haidu-Sylvia is a dentist and owner of New Leaf Dental, PC in Topsham, Maine. She achieved her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, an award only 6% of dentists earn. Dr. Haidu-Sylvia received her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Public Health degrees from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California and her Bachelor of Science degree from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan.
