BURLINGTON, VT, May 3, 2022 — Delta Dental Plan of Vermont announces the election of Dr. Tyler M. Aten as board trustee. Aten, a general dentist with advanced training in implant, esthetic and sedation dentistry will serve a three-year term. Owner of two dental practices in South Burlington and St. Albans, Vermont, Aten is heavily involved in advancing dentistry in his community through study clubs and practice development masterminds.
 
He completed his residency at St. Francis Hospital General Practice Residency, Hartford, Connecticut; received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Vermont. During his residency he was recognized as Resident of the Year and received the E. Gerard Keen Award - For Excellence in Oral Surgery. He was also bestowed numerous awards from the University of Connecticut.
