Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) & Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) Information for Dentists
Effective July 1st, 2017, Northeast Delta Dental will begin to use a new vendor, DentalXChange, for EFT/ERA. We are pleased to announce that with this change, you will have access to all your Delta Dental patients’ ERAs in one location, regardless of which Delta Dental Member Company provides the coverage. You will also begin to receive EFT payments directly from the Delta Dental Member Company which processed the claim.
If you would like to receive EFT payments, you will need to enroll directly with Northeast Delta Dental by completing the appropriate state’s EFT form found on the “Providers” page of nedelta.com under “EFT/ERA” once logged in. After you enroll to receive EFT/ERA, you will be able to print copies of your Delta Dental ERAs online or download them into your practice management system by logging into DentalXChange through a link on the Northeast Delta Dental website.
To have ERAs automatically downloaded into your practice management system, you will need to contact your practice management software vendor to verify capability. If your software is compatible, you will need to initiate an agreement with DentalXChange. You can contact them at 1-800-576-6412 ext. 455, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 8:00 pm EST, or email salesrequests@dentalxchange.com.
If you are not currently enrolled in EFT/ERA for Northeast Delta Dental, and you are interested in initiating it or if you have questions regarding the EFT/ERA process, please contact the Provider Services department at 1-800-537-1715, ext. 1100, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:45 pm EST, or email ProviderServices@nedelta.com.
Please note: Effective July 1, 2017, if you do not enroll with Northeast Delta Dental for EFT/ERA, or you choose to no longer receive EFT/ERA, you will receive paper checks and remittance advices in the mail.
